How was your Christmas break? What was special about it this year? If you are anything like us, Christmas is both a very special and a very challenging season. Needless to say, it is one of the most joyous seasons of the year, filled with festivities and special moments that will become precious memories in due time. But at the same time, it is an incredibly busy and demanding season. For us it is filled with special opportunities and non-stop ministry activities that culminate with the Christmas Eve candlelight service. Therefore, every year we must be mindful of our family time so as not to be consumed by ministry to the point that we lose our time together. This is a lesson that we have been learning slowly but surely over the years. We are by no means done, but we are doing better than we were even five years ago. And we wanted to share a few of these family moments with you. Attached is what could be called a brief "Christmas video card" from our family to you. Thank you so much for your prayerful support of our ministry! We really wish you were in this video with us because we could not do what we do without you! Thank you!
Yours in praying and hastening the day of revival in Moscow and Russia,
Constantin and Alexandra
P.S. Above is a short version of our Christmas Video Card. You can watch the full version by following this link. By the way, the candlelight service was a huge success! Thank you for your prayers! But that’s the theme of our next newsletter.
FOUR PRAYER REQUESTS:
Please join us in praying for God:
- To bring peace to Ukraine and Russia. Moreover, ask God to use this conflict by bringing reconciliation and revival to both countries.
- To bless the start of our Sunday School for adults. We are launching our Sunday School for adults. Our first course will be a 12 week series on the foundations of the Christian faith that I shared about back in July of last year. Please pray that God uses this class to strengthen in faith those who recently converted and those who were walking with the Lord for quite some time but never took a chance to explore their faith deeper.
- To grant us wisdom as we begin to plan for Lent and Christmas seasons. Lent is rapidly approaching. We will gather the leadership team of our church in the next couple weeks to plan for what is ahead. But we will also use this time to start planning Christmas season next year since we want to take full advantage of it in utilizing opportunities to share the Gospel.
- To provide the necessary resources for us to finish up book shelves at our new place. Thank you so much for your prayers! We have necessery funds now to finish up the vast majority of the work on our place. The only thing that remains are the books shelves.
