September '22 PART 2: IT Executive Gets Baptised

I would like you to meet Evgenia. She is in charge of educational endeavors for the Mail.ru Group, which is one of the largest IT companies in Russia, owning even VKnontake – the Russian equivalent of Facebook. Evgenia came to our church almost a year ago through our pastor of worship, Alexey Obrovets. Alexey is known in the Russian IT sector as one of the most sought out hosts for IT conferences, and that is how he met Evgenia originally. 

Shortly afterwards, she started attending rehearsals of our worship team because she had some background in music. God used that experience to help her overcome some personal tragedies in her life. He soothed her heart and healed her wounds. Her faith began to blossom, and this past May she was baptized in our church.

It is one thing to hear about people putting their faith in Jesus or to find out about numbers of those that were baptized, but I wanted you to experience a little bit of what we get to experience when we meet these people, hear their stories, and witness how God is transforming their lives.
