Merry Christmas! How was this Christmas season for you?
For a city that prefers New Years celebration to Christmas surprisingly Moscow sure goes out of its way to decorate the city for Christmas season. Which makes this a very special and an incredibly busy season for us in ministry. It seems that every December flies by and this December was not an exception. It was jam packed with Christmas dinners (special parties our small groups host to draw in those who were not in church for a while or who were never in church to begin with), Charitable Christmas Market, gathering "Gifts for Jesus" that will be delivered to the elderly home our church visits on the regular basis and another trip to the Donbass from a volunteer team we support. And of course there was a special Christmas series of sermons complete with readings offered through YouVersion app that seem to grow in popularity every year. The pinnacle of all this activity is our candle light service which this year we will do twice at 3.00pm and at 10.00pm.
So as we are getting ready to host our annual candle light outreach tomorrow night at Moscow Bible Church, as we are pushing forward in proclaiming the Gospel in the heart of the city that became the symbol of darkness for much of the western world, I pray that you would pause and ponder with me the breathless beauty of God’s arrival in this world to live the life we could not live, to die the death we dreaded and to conquer mortality we so desired so that with Him and in Him we would rise victorious one day too.
Yours in praying and hastening the day of revival in Moscow and Russia,
Constantin and Alexandra

- Tonight is one of out more special and more evangelistic services during the year. Please pray that the service is jam packed with unbelievers and that it leads to a transformation in their lives as they accept Christ's gift of forgiveness and life.
- Our youth are planning a winter retreat that starts on January 3. Please pray that new teenagers join our weekly ministry as a result of this outreach.
- It is easy to forget about the war and it is very easy to get used to it. I'm so grateful to our team of volunteers that bring humanitarian aid almost to the front lines of this war on a bi-monthly basis. Their stories and pictures remind all of us of the reality of carnage that is still going on. Please continue to pray with us for peace between Russia and Ukraine.
