JUNE '26 PART 1: The Vision for the Building

What do you think about when you think about a church building? Does sanctuary come to mind? What about Sunday School classes? Something else? We have launched a capital campaign with the intent of buying a building for Moscow Bible Church. Our vision is to glorify God and expand His Kingdom through the purchase of a building to house Moscow Bible Church and to increase our impact and outreach.

This center would be a church building that would also include cultural and commercial space, while serving as a catalyst for mercy outreach. As a Christian facility, this building will be the headquarters for the Evangelical Free Churches of Russia and will serve as the training ground for City to City Russia

A suitable building with grounds is currently available for purchase at a reasonable price near downtown Moscow.  This building would suffice for all of Moscow Bible’s current ministry needs, allow for growth in a variety of ministry areas, and afford multiple avenues for both outreach and revenue generation.

Moscow Bible’s vision for its church building can be summed up with four C’s (Christian, cultural, commercial, catalyst) that would allow the church to reach as many people as possible with the Good News of Christ. The desire is for the church building to be a center of attraction for the area around the church, and in due time, for the entire city of Moscow.

We would love for this building to also be a model to be replicated in other cities. We believe this could be a key piece in subsidizing purchases of similar church buildings across Russia and maybe even Belarus.

Would you consider partnering with us by sharing this vision with your church? Would you mind mentioning it to some of your friends so that they in turn could share it with their churches?

Yours in praying and hastening the day of revival in Moscow and Russia,
Constantin and Alexandra

PS A couple of weeks ago, I shared with you about our church retreat. It was a great time; let me share some highlights of it with you in my next newsletter.

THREE PRAYER REQUESTS:

Please take a moment right now, after you fnished reading this e-mail, to join us in praying for God:

  1. To bless our online session of the Incubator of Church Planters. Back in March I shared about the launch of this training program of City to City Russia. Given that most of the participants of the Incubator do not live in Moscow or even in the surrounding area it is a challenge to bring everyone together 3 times a year. Thererefore one of the sessions will be online. Both Friday and Saturday we will hold a two-day session for the Incubator. Please pray for these sessions and especially for new trainers who will join us as part of their training.
  2. To raise necessery funds for us to purchase our own building. I shared in one of my previous newsletter about our capital campaign that we just launched. Check it out if you have not yet and if you can please share about it with as many people as possible especially with the missions board of your church.
  3. To bring peace to Russia and Ukraine. Moreover, ask God to use this conflict by bringing reconciliation and revival to these countries.
